Try some of these fun April Fools Day pet pranks to include your furry family member in the fun.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Honey, I shrunk the pet\u2019s things \u2013 <\/strong>Take a little time to replace your pet\u2019s belongings with smaller versions overnight. Tiny <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rocklinranchvet.com\/blog\/the-straight-story-on-whisker-fatigue\/\">water bowl<\/a>? Puppy sized Kong toy? See what your pet\u2019s reaction is. Be careful to make sure any small items are large enough to not be ingested accidentally.<\/li><li><strong>Invisible treats \u2013 <\/strong>Make like Charlie the Golden\u2019s mom and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=G2vVgXA3jHM\">eat some invisible food <\/a>in front of your pet. See how long it takes for your pet to decide that you are just nuts and give up.&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>What the Fluff? \u2013 <\/strong>Bring back the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kansascity.com\/news\/nation-world\/article213980579.html\">What the Fluff Challenge<\/a> and see how your pet handles your disappearance.<\/li><li><strong>Do you hear what I hear \u2013 <\/strong>Change your ringtone to the sound of a kitty meowing or other attention-getting sound and watch your pet\u2019s reaction. Alternatively, hide your home assistant device or similar and talk to your pet from somewhere unexpected.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Remember that your pet can\u2019t read the calendar and isn\u2019t privy to the reasons behind your erratic behavior. Switch that toy poodle for a standard or your Miniature Pinscher for a full fledged Doberman. Ask a family member to walk the dog, and watch as they decipher what\u2019s happening. In the past we have really enjoyed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rei.com\/blog\/travel\/rei-introduces-adventures-for-pets\">REI\u2019s Pet Adventures advertisement<\/a> (kitty glamping anyone?), <a href=\"https:\/\/warbybarker.com\/?utm_source=twitter_barker&amp;utm_medium=social_media&amp;utm_campaign=warbybarker\">Warby Parkers line of glasses for dogs<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/theinspirationroom.com\/daily\/2011\/ikea-hundstol-dog-chair\/\">IKEA\u2019s dog high chair<\/a>. We can\u2019t wait to see some new ones this year!<br><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">April Fools Day pet pranks can take the day to a whole new level.
