Rocklin Ranch Veterinary Hospital’s newly designed facility is equipped to offer excellent overnight care for dogs and cats. Our highly trained veterinary caregivers utilize indoor and outdoor exercise areas and environmentally controlled kennels to provide a safe and comfortable accommodation for Rocklin’s pets.
Dog comfort and health is the focus of our canine care space. Rocklin Ranch Veterinary Hospital boasts:
- 30 canine enclosures including stainless steel kennels, dog runs and Junior or Master Suites
- Our canine run enclosures are 5.5ft X 3.5ft with glass front windows
- Themed Jr Suites are 6ft X 4.5ft with television, glass front doors and full window view looking out over our walking yard
- Master Suites are 6.5ft X 5ft with television, glass front doors and full window views over looking the city
- Fully fenced outdoor exercise area for safe leashed walks
Our kennel attendants exercise all dogs three times per day during the week and three times per day on weekends.
All dogs remaining with us day stay or overnight must be up to date on DHPP, rabies, and bordetella vaccinations to ensure the health and safety of all our kenneled pets.
We are also now requiring Canine Influenza Vaccine (H3N2/H3N8) prior to boarding. We require the 2 series vaccine to be completed at least 1 week (7 days) prior to date of boarding. Vaccination protocol is that the vaccine must be boostered 2-3 weeks after the initial vaccine, last vaccine must be given 1 week prior to boarding.
Cats are more comfortable if they have interactive spaces and stimulating environments. Our facility helps cats remain as comfortable as possible by offering a separate area from our canine guests and by providing kitty condos for each cat. Kitty condos allow areas to explore and options for seclusion.
All cats remaining with us day stay or overnight must be up to date on FVRCP and rabies vaccinations to ensure the health and safety of all our kenneled pets.
Medical Boarding for Pets
Pets in need of regular medications or requiring additional supervision are able to receive expert care at Rocklin Ranch Veterinary Hospital. Our kennels are situated so that our doctors and staff can easily and frequently monitor pet status. Our trained technicians give medications and care is carefully documented to track any changes in health.
